AFS Corporate Member ME Elecmetal opened the doors to the public at its Duluth, Minnesota, foundry for a Manufacturing Day Open House on October 4. Attendees included employees, retirees, volunteers, local officials, and community members. 

The event offered a behind-the-scenes look at modern metal casting and celebrated the vital role manufacturing plays in the regional and national economy.

“Manufacturing Day is an opportunity to connect our community with the people, technology, and innovation that make modern metal casting possible,” said Duluth Plant Manager Justin Meller. “We’re proud to share not just what we produce, but how we’re investing in a cleaner, more efficient future.”
